Global Young Greens Founding congress was held at USIU [United States International University] , Nairobi, Kenya.

GYG is a worldwide network of youth activists who want to see the positive development in promoting and protecting the environment. During the founding congress , all the members across the globe, had gathered at Nairobi, during January 2007 , to discuss and frames the working Principles, Values and Objectives of the organization ! I was selected to represent India at the Founding congress and contribute for the same .

GYG Founding congress has created an excellent stage for me to learn about various environmental issues of concern. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and make friends with different people across the globe, who are working on similar issues .
